In a recent paper (Regulation and Classification of Nanotechnology: A Path to Standardization of Nanotechnology), an engineering and nanosciences researcher points out the urgent need to focus on the liberalization of nanotechnology. Standardization as a method for achieving an accurate catalog and ranking of nanotechnology. It is not new, and there are already valuable books and works dealing with this topic, however, this work attempts to revive and popularize this topic.

Through the urgent need for standardization of nanotechnology, the realization of appropriate liberation of nanotechnology as a science and technology can walk on its own. In the same paper, the researcher seeks to present the techniques and means of classification, and to classify these technical sciences through 6N, which includes: nanometers, nanoscience, nanotechnology, nanovisualization, nanoprocessing, and nanofabrication.

Technical index, arrangement and standardization of nanotechnology through scientific graphs is the best way for the full development of this science to become nanotechnology. “Nanotechnology standardization index and ranking will improve the ability of large, medium and small business and entrepreneurship, management and forecasting of new goods.”

The liberalization of nanotechnology will begin when an organization for this science is initiated, through indications as a technical indicator of nanotechnology and mainly through standardization.
